I didn't know it but I hated my life. Wake, drive, rush, work, rush, drive, shop, cook, clean, sleep and begin again.

Then my girlfriend (Laura) and I took a well earned break to Greece and saw a beautiful sight...a flotilla of yachts coming into Fiskardo harbour in kefalonia. We looked at each other and said, (more or less at the same time) I could do some of that.

From that moment on we were planning to give everything up...jobs, career, car, house...everything. We worked secretly getting ready and only telling a chosen few so's not to upset the apple cart at work and then in early August we threw off the ropes in a marina in Troon and are now in Southern Spain on our way to Greece and a long break...maybe for ever.

I had been following a friends Blip (treegonk) for a while and have an online picasa album, and he suggested I should blip. I won't be able to blip everyday as sometimes am out of sight of land and Wifi but would like to try.
