Yan & Smudge enjoy their first Christmas

We hadn't done Christmas for many years and having been host family to Yan Zhou (a visiting student from China) was a really great excuse to dust off the Christmas decorations.

This happened to also coincide with our decision to get a dog. Smudge is a Lakeland Terrier and is a 5 year old ex breeding dog, so we suspect that this is the first time Smudge has experienced being around the table for a big family Christmas meal. Smudge is settling in well and is a firm favourite with all that meet her.

I will try to capture some better pictures of Smudge...she deserves to be captured properly as she is a very pretty lady.
