I am a very amateur photographer and hoped that the discipline of daily practice would help me improve (it didn't work when I tried to learn to play the piano, but hey!) What I didn't realise was how inspirational the other photographers would be - already.
I chose the name of the blog because I hope it will show my life through small day to day activities. It comes from a William Blake poem.

I'm a fifty something, married, full time worker. I have one daughter living in Germany and the other, with baby daughter living in Bristol and family is very important to me, including the extended family of sisters, nephews and nieces.

Other interests include reading - I'm a member of possibly the best book group ever, theatre, craft and swimming
