Hello there,

I've always loved taking photos and after some gentle encouragement from a friend (D77), I finally decided to join the world of blip. I've always loved taking photos ever since I was given a Le Clic camera when I was a teenager. However, it wasn't until I had my first child and had saved enough money to buy a fancy camera, that I really started to get interested in photography.

Admittedly I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm hoping that I will find the inspiration and motivation I need through blip to help me understand the workings of my camera.

Most of my photos will probably be of my children as they are my favourite subject, but I'll also try and open my eyes to the world around me.

I'm originally from Newcastle Upon Tyne in the UK, but for the last seven years we've lived in Egypt, Oman and now Belgium. I wish I'd started blip earlier as I've been fortunate enough to enjoy so many photographic opportunities, and I have been so overwhelmed with the friendliness of the blip community. I love receiving comments and appreciate every single one, and will do my best to comment on other photos whenever I can.
