Today's the day ....................... for a Kendal town house
It's always a good idea to look up when you're in town because there are lots of interesting things to be seen up high.
This is to be found on a lovely house called Black Hall where Kendal's first Alderman lived in 1575. The house was modernised in 1810 and in 1869 it became a brush factory - with the sign of a bristly hog over the front door ...........
