Bird Shopping

We were back in the market this morning shopping for tuna, vegetables, and fruit. What we didn't expect to see was a man selling songbirds by the side of the street. He carried a stack 11 cages high of birds that were signing in a vary melodious way. They captured everyones attention especially this little girl and her brother. They were fascinated by the multihued birds who seemed to perform as she pointed to each of the cages in the stack. I didn't see anyone purchase a bird, but it made for quite a site in a place where sights are a common occurrence.
