Leaf Patterns

Our yard, at least until we move again on Wednesday, is full of interesting plants. I was struck by how the leaves of this bush by our gate resembled the skin on an octopus I saw the other day in the market. The colors are different, these leaves are much more vibrant, but the patterns are similar. The more I look around down here in Mexico, the more I see evidence of nature replicating itself on land and in the sea.
