rest area sunrise

I'll take my sunrises where I can find them.

I actually saw the neatest scene this morning with mist floating around the bases of some giant old trees, with the sun rising throught the mist like something from a vampire movie. Problem was: at the time I was hurtling northward to work at seventy mph on the interstate, boxed in by overloaded semi-trucks and homicidal maniacs in Volkswagon Jettas. So I couldn't just stop and pull out the lumix.

I had to settle for this nice shot at the roadside rest area a few miles up the road.

Thank you all for visiting for my 200th blip day yesterday. I had great fun trying to catch up with you today. I apologize if I missed anyone. It was neat that Flick and Northern both had 300th blip days yesterday so the balloons were flying.
