Nakoa in the Pink
This morning I looked out my kitchen window, which faces east, and I saw that the sky has broken clouds. I thought "there is going to be a great sunrise." Well, I hurried as fast as I could to get out the door, and as I got in the car, I looked in the sky and it was magnificent. The clouds looked much like they did last night, with dark clouds that had bright pink interlaced between. I was so excited, I could hardly drive.
I thought I would go to Empire Lake and catch those great clouds, but I was so disappointed; when I got there, the pink had disappeared from the clouds. So, I turned around and left. As I drove down the main road, I noticed there was still some pink in the east, so I decided I had time before work to drive to the boardwalk.
There is this little place close to the boardwalk that I like to take photos sometimes, the boat Nakoa is docked there. So, the sky was pinking up again, so I got a few nice shots.
I was happy to get something this morning, but I sure wish I had been at the boardwalk about 1/2 hour earlier to catch those great sun-tipped clouds. Oh well, another time.
Hope you all have a great weekend.
