There's Katie!

15 months

We've had a busy busy day, even by our standards. But it's been fantastic fun. We started off with gymnastics, she had a great time although quite a while stood on a big block, looking. I think  she missed her Ava who couldnt be there. She enjoyed the parachute today, a lot. She was first to run under it, first to run over it and last to come of it.

We went to soft play afterwards, and she was bouncing round (and hoovering up rice crackers as fast as humanly possible!) I took her for her lunch which she ate enthusiastically too.

I needed her to sleep but didnt have time to bring her home so put her in the buggy and walked her to sleep, which she doesnt often do, but eventually she settled

After her sleep (and more food, she woke starving!) it was time for her swimming lesson, which has moved for a few weeks. I wasnt sure how shed do a) with a new group of people and b) after such a busy day. But she had a blast. She was desperate to get off swimming in her floats. She did probably 6 lengths of the pool (only 10m baby pool but was still good going for a little person), plus the songs and jumping, bouncing and diving. It helped that I'd made sure we had the same teacher, so Katie was really chuffed to see Sarah.

She ate a full hot cross bun after swimming and then wanted her tea almost straight way when we got in - and ate it all. She had a really good play after tea, playing with her snowman and Monkey, stacking her cups to shove them as far as possible and attempting to put on her own fleecey. She started  off chasing the arms of it round like a cat chasing its tail. She managed to get her arms in, but ended up with it upside down and back to front, bless her!
