It's getting hot in here

1. It's probably not sticking by the rules to include things that happened yesterday. But, as soon as I blipped last night I realised that Pulp Fiction was starting. Colin and I watched it together - in different houses - texting all the way. Turns out we both love this film - we both seem to have lived and breathed this film. It's was witty and impressive and fun.

2. Blue skies. Nothing but blue skies. Frost and fog are a good combination. Today seemed nearer to spring.

3. On the first day I moved into this flat, I heard someone downstairs practising clarinet. That was in October and he was rubbish. I don't think he would mind me saying. As I passed I would hear him play something, make a mistake then burst out laughing. Tonight, as I passed his door he was playing a Burns tune rather beautifully. I hear him everyday and forget to say, but his playing makes me smile.

4. This picture is of Colin sporting his new jumper. It zips all the way up and all the way back. It was lovely to meet up with Colin and his best friend tonight for a drink and a blether before heading home. There was an empty chair at the table occupied in spirit as Lord Gaga texted from the bottom of a bottle of Merlot.

5. There is a song that I love called Cucurucucu. I started to hum it one day last year, having heard it in a film years ago. It popped into my head and has stayed there since. It's playing now.
