The sheep and the fox
1. I am trying to take the photo part of my Blip journal seriously, so when I saw the sunset this evening I went to the next office to get a better view. I kind of got distracted by the sheep in the filing cabinet. I walk past her every day, but it was only when I had a camera in my hand that her photogenic side struck me. She's called Skye.
2. Waking up with the first alarm and having time before you actually get up. But even better, when it feels like ages and there's time to doze and read and think and plan. It's like getting a wee gift of time.
3. It didn't last though, I seem to have been hurrying from the start today, flying from one spot to the next, high speed, high energy; footering and flurrying. A good, mixed bag of a day with a good mixed bag of people.
4. I wore my new tweed jacket today, elbow patches and all. It's a high roller kind of addition to my wardrobe and it didn't go unnoticed. Comments ranged from postive and polite oohs and ahs to 'where have you tethered your pony' and my favourite of all - 'why are you dressed like Basil Brush?'.
5. I very rarely cook. I used to but don't so much now. I do tend to take pictures of the meals I make that I like but tonight's photo didn't match the taste. I stopped in to my favourite shop to get the things I needed. I was so pleased to see other customers in. Usually it's just me and I worry that a wee organic grocery can't bloom in the shadow of the big green giant supermarket over the hill..
