Sweetness follows
1. A tough day yesterday. But taking charge of things rather than being the victim of things is a good place to be. It's hard to admit that when I am wrong. It's easier to move on as soon as I do though.
2. You know that way when you are driving along a familiar road and you suddenly realise you don't remember the last part of the journey. You know you have been driving but nothing else really registers. Work was a bit like that for me today, I know I was there, some things were surely done. A definite chat about budgets. Other than that though, nothing has stuck. At least I didn't run anyone over.
3. I am little in love with the pictures of Connie. She has a full head of dark hair and a little cupids bow mouth. I can't wait to meet her.
4. Yesterday at a Celtic Connections gig Colin's band were playing at I met a lovely person who is a friend of a friend. I had never met her before but knew her name. It's the anniversary of World Women's Day in March and she is creating a knitting project to make 1million stitches to mark it. Tonight, in the GFT, I bumped into her again. I think it's a sign to dust off the needles and get involved.
5. Tonight I was supposed to be at art class, but more important things seemed to take over. As we sat, putting things right a man in a morning suit came in with goody bags. He was promoting the new Scorsese tv series which was screening upstairs. The goody bag contaned these sweets. It seemed like a fitting picture to mark the day. It ended with sweetness.
