Accidental Vegetarian....

.....not through design, I seem to have eaten a vegetarian diet this weekend (I'm ignoring the meat content of the Bovril drink I relished at Easter Road yesterday). Don't worry, I'm not about to make any miraculous proclamation about feeling healthier or virtuous, but it's not often a day passes without the flesh of a dead thing enters my digestive system. Perhaps I shall continue with a meat free day tomorrow and see what happens.....

Nancy was up at the Uni Library most of the day so the domestic joys were largely mine to endure. Owen went a birthday party round the corner and I came back home to snatch a listen to Radio 6 whilst I cooked up a delicious squash and chickpea curry....it was awesome (quoting Owen here).

I should be focusing on work to make tomorrow tolerable, but I'll permit myself a quick blip and run.

Travel plans for next week are Manchester and Preston. Some people think of them as northern settlements in this good isle.....tell that to Northern and Poppy.
