Free the Belgrade 6.....
.....interesting wee morning. Up a bit late for Owen's Judo lesson; I'm still feeling a little spacey after my double flu jab and I'm sleeping solidly for 10 hours a time.
We ran to the class and blustered through the door just in time. To cool down I went for a wee wander on nearby Leith Walk. This old hardware store has been lying boarded-up and derelict for several years now but it's quite an evocative sight, and I like it. When the trams come, and the second Yuppie invasion takes place under the new Conservative Westminster regime, it'll be bought by Starbucks and painted magnolia. I hadn't noticed this new protest board before; it concerns a group of Anarcho-syndicalists in Belgrade. The local bobbies have banged them up for protesting about oppression. Whatever their beliefs, you've got to sympathise really, Serbia has a long history of oppressive and brutish regimes.
Back at home now, listening to Wossie on Radio2 and supping on my second cup of coffee....nice. Nancy has asked me out on a date this evening; really looking forward to Tapas in the early evening, followed by a trip to the movies to see Sherlock Homes.
Hope you are having as nice a day as I am.
