ooo mummy's purse

We have had a testing day! I think we are all tired today...Amelie was in beside me from 11.30 last night but she just didn't settle properly all night and was in every position imaginable. She woke up everytime her dummy came out and although Chris took her to his side when he came in at 3ish she was still waking me up. She woke up properly just before 8 and we lay in bed for a while (much to Chris' annoyance!) before getting up and getting breakfast. It wasn't long after breakfast she was whinging for a nap again and so I put her down and got ready to go so we could leave pretty much as soon as she had woken up. I decided that Amelie was going to be weighed today as I had hadn't remembered to go for months! So after she woke I dressed her and off out we went. The clinic was boiling as always, which just adds to the harrassment! Amelie now weighs 19lb 7. 2lb more than 3 months ago.

After weighing we went to he library where Amelie proceeded to shout her head off for no apparent reason (and find it really funny that I kept saying that she had to be ssshhh in the librar!) and then into Boots and then home. The rest of the day was spent pottering and this evening I discovered that my little monster can now climb out of her highchair straps and stand in the chair...

She was really tired at bedtime and went down really well but half an hour later, as we sat down to eat, something woke her and she was inconsolable for almost 2 hours. She's asleep just now and hasn't stirred since so fingers crossed she has completely tired herslelf out and is getting some good sleep.
