Rogues Corner

After a chilly damp walk into town to get some Omani rials for daughter#3, it was a relief to have a nice hot curry under the leaking roof of the Mosque with the great company of hardy blippers and the odd pigeon....... ...oh and another lady- Streak-Life. So nice to get a bit of female company amongst all that testosterone.

Many topics were covered including D77, camera cases, compact cameras, 18-55mm lenses, Av setting, manual setting, RAW, Picasa v Photoshop, woolly hats, massage parlours ( but not in Limekilns), the Car Club, and lastly but not least, Just Sitting's broken 50mm lens.

The latter discussion provoked so much emotion that many of us present were moved to tears. It seems he now can't get any DOF with his 18-55mm lens and is almost inconsolable.

Let us hope his broken lens will be restored to full optical capability asap, lest he drowns in his sorrow.
