The Snow Returns
The Seattle meteorologists have been predicting a big snow storm to move through the Puget Sound area today which resulted in my older daughter's school district closing at 12:30 with all after school programs being canceled. Of course no snow had touched the area by 6:00 this evening.
At the same time, one of our friends from college was in town today for some job interviews and we had scheduled to meet him for dinner, so we loaded up in the van and drove over to the UW area to meet up with him. As we were finishing dinner, the snow started to come down fairly hard. As we were heading back to the car, I grabbed a few shots of the snow, and I liked this one of the snow coming straight at the lens. I used a slow shutter speed to get some movement and create a bit of an abstract look.
