Kruger National Park

It was a very early start to get to the park for gates opening at 6am. By breakfast time we had already seen a whole host of interesting animals, elephants, rhino, giraffe, zebra and best of all, a leopard sat by the edge of the car, unfortunately we were too busy getting the window up to get a shot. We were privelaged to watch a lioness walk along the river and rest under a shady tree.

At lunch we stopped at the cafe, it had two sheltered areas with tables underneath, one however only had tables at the edges as the roof had become a roost for bats.

We had a fantastic afternoon before heading out on a night drive with the rangers in the evening.
