Kruger day two
After a night sleeping in a rondavel (a small round hut) we got up early for a dawn drive. We were lucky enough to see bufallo, vultures feasting on the remains of a lions kill and an elephant eating at the side of the road.
During our afternoon drive towards the exit of the park we were lucky enough to watch a lioness with her young cubs, they were partly hidden behind some rocks and looking at my grainy shots, I really wish I'd borrowed a better camera!
Our final animal experience before leaving the park was of a large bull elephant that was happily munching on a tree before walking out in front of the car. He then began to walk towards us as we cautiously backed away!
Heading back to our accomodation we hit some very thick fog as we travelled along narrow winding roads with steep drops to the side. It was a scary drive!
