Eastern Transvaal
Today we headed for a few days in the Eastern Transvaal. Before checking in to our accomodation we visited Pilgrims rest. It was once a mining town and has been lovingly preserved with original features.
We were staying in a lovely little chalet on the edge of a valley. Unfortunately the pool was full of dead flies but I found some entertainment in the form of a large trampoline.
Heading back to the chalet we saw baboons. Now I might have thought the monkeys were cute and cuddly but I know that a baboon is most definitely not! We watched the sunset from the balcony and then headed for a lovely dinner.
It was to be an early start the next day.
