The baking bean bird

This is Fred's novel way of drying baking beans. He's made it into a feature. I think those beans might be reluctant to pop back into their jar after being in the domain of such a fine bird.

The kitchen cupboards are back on the wall after a year of sitting in the garden. Hooray! I've become so used to not having the stuff that was in those cupboards that perhaps it just needs to be sent to the charity shop. It will be nice to have a little extra space to put the stuff that I do use. I haven't ever become used to cramming plates, bowls, glasses, mugs and pans into only two cupboards.
