Hanging on

I love the way squirrels hang effortlessly from their back feet while tucking into some grub. They always curl the tail just so. It makes for an elegant shape. Not for the first time, I wish I had a tail.

Today, I worked at home getting stuff done. The in-tray is rather full this week, but I'm glad I took off the whole Christmas week from work. It's good to have a break. Besides, I was too busy chatting with the family to devote time to work. I'll probably pay for it this week, but tough - my priorities were in the right place and I'm sticking to all my guns. The ammunition is loaded for tomorrow.
