Frozen reeds
The light was tricky today - very flat and grey - and I didn't go out with my camera until 2.30pm. I went up to Hadrian's Wall and walked to the trig point above the Teppermoor Farms.
There were green areas between the remnants of snow, but large areas of solid ice. I took wide angle views of the distant views, but then I spotted the clumps of soft rush held fast in ice and snow. The reflections fascinated me.
I have converted this image to mono (although it was almost mono to start with).
Hope that tomorrow is a brighter day. I need to do more walking.
