Seeing red

Here I am walking up Hallstile Bank in Hexham and looking for an image for today. Another very grey and drizzly day I'm afraid. I started trying out shots of the Abbey from this position. I realised that if I moved to one side the name of the bookmaker's shop could be partly blotted out, leaving red from Betfred.

This is a new shop and its opening has caused a lot of adverse comment in Hexham. People have seen red about a bookmaker being in the market place, so I thought I'd take an image with the word red in it. The red car and the man with the red jumper were extra gifts who arrived at the right moment!
