Its Raining!!

Yes, lots of rain overnight and again to day, our lawn and paddocks are already showing signs of green.....I kid you not!!
Crazy isn't it, so dry for so long with fires & drought conditions, then today flooding, slips etc all around out district. Doug is on call, the phone hasn't stopped ringing since 3am this morning.....however, I must point out that he did get time to paint the bathroom ceiling, he's a good boy & is having a well earned snooze on the couch :)

I should be celebrating with a damp type blip but haven't really got the urge to brave the elements....I am recycling Christmas, promise this will be the last, but in actual fact I haven't blipped our Christmas Tree before. Well, here it is but in different forms. I was inspired/copied today by jenny's shot yesterday....thanks :)

Now, I have all my old (very old) photograph albums all over the floor, my eldest daughter Janelle turns 40 later in January and I have this idea of putting together a "this is your life" album to celebrate.....why I ask myself do I leave these things to the last??
