Well, that's it, Christmas, here again, gone in a few more hours.

Got up early again this morning to prepare for breakfast, not sure why really, as I was up at 6 and the Son and Heir wasn't due until 10.30

Young Helen was working unti 4.00 so we weren't opening presents until she got here and not eating until 6.00. The Boss and the others thought it would be a good idea to have a lie in and that I should cook breakfast. Just after 10.30 we had the full English and then we had a wander up to the Rose for a beer with friends.

About 4.00 it snowed for 10 minutes so officially that's a white Christmas!

Presents were opened, I got fishing gear (obviously) but the Son and Heir and Young Helen had bought their presents out in Hong Kong and Beijing so I'm now the proud owner of a 100% Chinese silk dressing gown/robe, black with red dragons, the Boss has a Chinese tea ceremony set and the daughter has a lovely silk pashmina/wrap. Of course with them setting up home and expecting a baby they got useful household presents, Grandad sent cash and Chris instantly bought a cot on-line with it, we're getting them a bed but we also gave them some Transylvanian glass and a Mr Garlic.

You don't know what a Mr Garlic is? hebs does, we got her one for her wedding!
Its an amazing little device for grating garlic and other things, you can google it or look it up on you tube.

Now we're just chilling in front of the TV, watched the Royle Family, absolutely hilarious, now we're spoiled for choice, several big films, the cricket, things we "recorded" last night, or maybe a few more drinks, another mint or chocolate and a game.
