Ben help!

Here's yesterday's blip, which I love the pictures for, but didn't get a chance to even look at the computer yesterday so it's been back-blipped. Have a look, it's our tree!

What a lovely day today has been. Busy again, but a lovely day.

We bumbled about until I finally managed to get dressed by 11am, went out to the pottery cafe that I collected my tiles from yesterday to have lunch. Stayed until they closed at 2pm and ended up taking one of their floral decorations home with us! Didn't get a chance to paint anything but I will SO be going back there in the New Year sometime.

Home via Steyning (again) for more veg, Ben fell asleep (again) in the car on the way so Steve stayed in the car with him while mum and dad and I went round the shops. Picked up a few more presents from the cancer research shop (they have some rather lovely wooden toys and things there.) and say hello to one of the lads from the shop as he legged it down the High Street with his bleeper bleeping as he'd been called out on a fire call. Lucky lad is a retained firefighter. Just what he needed!

Ben helped Steve chop the wood up for the fire. That was noisy.

Mum and I spent the afternoon in the kitchen making yummy treats (florentines) and dinner, followed by frangipani mince pies. Which are still in the kitchen with the coffee that's ready because everyone's watching tv now and it's too funny to pause and get yummy treats!! Ben is fast asleep dreaming of Baby Jesus (he got a lovely book from Love Mums last week about the Christmas Story and it's his favourite book at the moment) and the presents are PILED around the tree. I swear there are more this year than last year. That's despite telling the grandparents to go easy on presents as we're still snowed under from Ben's birthday!!

Well, I'm off to get some coffee and a mince pie with brandy butter. Hehehe. Yummy!

Merry Christmas!
