First time!!

Today was his first try to drive the car on public roads! He practised in our complex, but never drove through the gate onto the streets! He 'drove his dad to the gym today'!! :-)

R snr is such a law obiding dad, he never allowed him to drive before he had his learner's license! It was somewhat frustrating at times, especially when all his friends are allowed to drive without licenses, but that's the way we are, and he actually agrees with us! He will never regret the fact that he was brought up to be law obiding!

His dad says he may drive to school every day next year, since they are at the same school from now on, which means his dad will always be in the car with him! They will have to use my little car, since it is the only car we have with manual gears, and it will not help him much if he drives automatic cars, since he will have to get his permanent license in a manual car, so, it is best he does all his practising in my car!
