The fourth blip of Christmas - note to Santa

Each to their own I say. I've heard people saying that they do not wish to lie to their children even about people soon to be visiting houses across the world in the not too distant. This could be pushed to extremes, there will be no lies, no disappointment, whatever.

We however believe in major deceipt but we also believe in dreams especially around Christmas. So tonight was an important night in our year, the one where we communicate directly with the big man himself, Santa. I thought of blipping the notes from the girls, but I thought this the key moment, where I let go of the note and it shoots up the chimney. Our eldest, being swayed to the side of non believers was absolutely gobsmacked by the magic of her note with which her note went up the chimney she was a convert for another beautiful year. She shall no doubt be scarred for life with this.

Child #2 is very confident and communicating with the man in red and white is done in such a casual way, I'm guessing they have met already although she she isn't fooled by the fake Santas which litter the stores around the country.

'Hello how are you doing?' she started 'Please can I have Monsters ink'.

Not sure we can get hold of that.

We were supposed to be in Glasgow for the first concert of the year, but given the weather we decided not to risk getting stranded on the M8.

A good day at the office, met Monsieur Christophe for a coffee which was nice.
