The only way is up or possibly staying put

The irony of this, oh I don't think I'll start the polemic although personally I was glad to see a plane in the sky. It has been a crazy few days, as people around the country are no doubt aware. Family now trying to go via different countries to get here for the holidays after three false starts, a colleague preparing for her third night in Paris, en route from the US, others leaving for other countries not looking very confident.

It makes you think, well it makes me think, where our expectations are compared to say 50 or 100 years ago. Take two Ibuprofen, take a couple of breaths, take a step back to see where we are going, or not and wonder where we are truly going.

A day in the office was never going to happen such were the streets locally, however late afternoon once tracks in roads had been lain, we managed to fish children out of a party and this evening I managed to get some last things from the supermarché. I do like driving in the snow, especially when the streets are pretty damn empty. And to cheer me up I listened to this seasonal classic.
