Duck Feeding - what a difference in less than a mo

Less than a month ago, I was down here with Oliver to give the Baffins faithful a good feed. Well, I'm sure they dont get as much as they should this time of year - especially with the big freeze going on.

Oliver clearly needed to get out for some fresh air, and I am never one to argue with that. I do love a good old dose of it, and it is free of charge of course! We went for a wander down to Baffins for a look around and give the ducks some much needed food. Most of the pond was covered with a thin layer of ice, and it was clear, the ducks preffered to be on dry land as thats where we found them.

Normally afterwards, we would normally head round to the park, but Oliver was starting to get a bit cold. Had we been an hour later, we would have had the chance to meet Santa Claus. Instead, we returned home via the co-op to buy a Dr Who magazine for me, and a Sunday newspaper for Oliver.

Now, its a cosy Sunday afternoon, and I can smell roast beef cooking in the oven - a kind of pre-Christmas Sunday Roast. Mmmmm!!

Only three more days of work this week before heading north. Anyone know the forecast for the M6 this week?

Other blip contenders for today... Here.
