Men do have their uses!

Now ladies don't choke! Blokes do have their uses, ok yesterday they were about as usefull as the proverbial fart in a space suit, but today well they became useful again.

Today was hang up decorations day and when you are somewhat vertically challenged like me who gets lightheaded standing on a chair and besides I would need at least a stack of three chairs high to reach our ceiling! So I enlisted the help of hubby who since he was a child loves putting up decorations no matter what the occassion.
At least he can reach the ceiling with only one chair. Mind you he had every box of decorations strewn all over the living room floor for the past two days, (one cannot rush these things)
However finally! he finished and I have to say the place looks good though I have been finding tinsle in places like the hall, the kitchen and even the toilet! he does go a bit overboard.
In tonights picture you can see a Santa with reindeer on the left, a snow sceane on the right and a wee fat snowman. Well these decorations belonged to my mother who also loved decorating the place up and they are over 50 years old and written in small letters on the Santa one are the words "British made" interesting. I couldnt bear to part with them and maybe I'm a bit daft but I like seeing them there and I hope that spiritually both my folks will be here too.
