It's yet another clock tower

Well. I didn't leave the office all day and by the time I came out it was dark. This week I've worked like an automaton, click, press, write, send, click, press, write, send, with occasional out of proportion emotional peaks - other people's, not mine - it's been bizarre. In fact, a bit like the underlying darkness in this picture, if there were slashes of firework colours across it now and then.

Which brings to mind: "I'm a very visual person" - Janice Soprano; yes, we are watching Sopranos for the nth time, and superb it is too.

May this weekend provide more inspired blips - tomorrow a visit to the Burmese Temple in Birmingham - this has got to be good news!
