Sunset over Selly

The sun drops over the "student village" of Selly Oak near the University. As the sun sets here, the spectre of tuition fee rises becomes a reality at the big House in London. Having listened to much of the debate today, I find myself more torn than I was about the issue; I suppose working for a University (and having been a student who paid full fees for both my degrees) I have felt that universities have been forced into a position from which fees are unavoidable. But now I find myself less sure.

None of this matters of course, it's all done now.
