Not the best timing, but underneath this exposed bathtub and piping there's water going drip drip drip into the flat downstairs - very slowly but very inconveniently. Of all the things this week....

Busy day, work open again, children needing taking places, the usual kind of midweek stuff.

Some nice music today courtesy of just sitting, a CD by the Esbjorn Svensson Trio or EST if you prefer the shorter form which everyone seems to. Particularly liking this track right now.

And on a completely different musical bent, have been re-loving this old duet By Tindersticks today. I particularly love the way that it works magically as a duet despite one of the parties seemingly having no discernible vocal talent whatsoever. It must have seemed a great idea at the time getting Isabella Rossellini to be on the record but blimey she makes me chuckle evey time she sings a line. She's dreadful, it's great - all part of the charm.
