Bump on a Log

This was my third photo session with the log. The first time I saw it I didn't have a camera support and couldn't get enough depth of field. I went back yesterday with my monopod, but still wasn't happy with the results, so I took a tripod with me today.

What kind of animal (or fish) does it remind you of?
