This afternoon C and I went to an open house at Ciao Thyme/In the Kitchen. There were six mini cooking classes showing how to make the following:

- Carrot-Orange Cardamom Sipping Soup
- Candied Pecans
- Gingersnap Cookies
- Molasses-Stout Bundt Cake
- Cheesecake
- Flourless Chocolate Cookies

We got there just in time to see the flourless chocolate cookies being made, but we were able to sample all six items, and they were great.

They have the most beautiful exotic hardwood plank tables I've ever seen. I keep forgetting to ask what kind of wood it is. I couldn't resist blipping this novel candle holder on the table. I love that grain!
