Waiting for the Messiah

C and I went to a sing-along of Handel's Messiah this afternoon at Garden Street Methodist Church in Bellingham. It brought back a lot of good memories. We met singing in a choir, one of our first dates was at a Messiah sing-along, and tomorrow is our anniversary.

We sang only the choruses, omitting a few of the more difficult ones. The director was very good and told interesting historical anecdotes between the choruses. Needless to say, we had a great time.

I didn't try to take photos during the singing. In my blip the director is rehearsing the orchestra before the singing started.
