Snowman - The Finished Article

Thank goodness I had a couple of days of annual leave scheduled and I didn't have to face the chaos that was the road system in central Scotland today! Hubby was put off by all the traffic reports too and phoned his boss to say he was taking a day off too.

Wee C's school is open as normal today, unlike many other schools in Scotland - just as well really as it is her school trip to pantomime today! It's in the theatre across the road from the school, so they will be walking there anyway - in wellies and thick jackets and gloves and hats.... :-)

Thought I'd better blip the snowman we built yesterday - we had to dust the fresh snow off his eyes, nose and moustache (hubby's tribute to Movember) before we took a photo of him this morning!

Check out wee D's pink gloves - they're his sisters but he thinks they're great because they have individual fingers unlike his wee blue mittens..... ;-)
