Snowman construction in progress...

Woke up this morning to even more snow - and then around 9am it started to snow with a passion - thick, heavy and fast. The kids were even MORE excited than yesterday and couldn't wait to get out and play.

Luckily, it was a bit warmer than yesterday - making for perfect snowman-building snow. Daddy did most of the hard work, to be honest - I took a few photos, and then put the camera away to get stuck in with the building myself. It was a lot of fun, and we've ended up with the most enormous snowman right outside the front window - quite disconcerting when you catch a glimpse out of the corner of your eye! :-)

After all that hard work, I made a batch of Scotch pancakes (or drop scones) for lunch, to be eaten with maple syrup, or butter and jam. I made 29 of them. There's not a single one left. Wee C ate eight without stopping to breathe. Bunch of gannets. :-)
