Andermass Fair

It's funny how blippers are drawn to the same things.

Mrs P was working today so went through to Perth with Pesky Princess and #1 Son (soon to be renamed smelly teenager) to have a wander round the Andermass Medieval Fair and get today's blip.

I could smell the Arbroath Smokies demonstration a mile away; they were using a wooden barrel and showing how Haddock is smoked to make "Smokies". Fish are tied in pairs and then hung on metal bars which are then placed over the smoking wood, and damp sack cloths placed over the top of the barrel. End product tastes great and if you haven't tried and are able to, you should. Even chefs agree they are great. I dont eat much fish, but this is one of the fishy things even i like.

The company was doing a raring trade, and didn't have any ready for sale when we were there, although some would have been ready in about 30 minutes.

Spotted Tonto and Lainy blipping the smokies too, so had a quick chat (nice to meet local blip friends in the flesh), then off for a wander and more blipping again. Only managed about an hour as it was bl***y freezing.

Found that most of my shots were out of focus (learner mistake, as i had turned to manual for last nights fireworks...arghhh), but by then we were too cold, so this will have to do for today's offering. Slight Lomo effect added for good measure.
