PREPARING TO GIVE THANKS

It's Thanksgiving eve here in the USA. Preparations are in order for the big feast tomorrow. We made the fresh cranberry sauce today, and the traditional cranberry Jello salad. Have two turkeys for tomorrow--one to roast and one to grill.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, a time to pause and give thanks for all we have. What are you thankful for?

We will have 19 guests for dinner--all family--and my son and I and my son-in-law do all the cooking. In our family, the men are the cooks. We also do all the cleanup! A lot of work, but a very enjoyable way to spend the day--eating a great feast with the people you love the most. It doesn't get any better than this!
