MY FIRST LOVE

I taught myself to knit when I was eleven years old, and it has always been my first love. Working at a local yarn shop, I am surrounded by wonderful balls and skeins of yarn. I love to knit socks and love sock yarn. Here it is neatly tucked away in cubby hole at the shop where I work. I like to wonder what each yarn will turn into.

We are experiencing a HUGE snow storm tonight, and there is nothing better to do than to snuggle up by the fire and work on a pair of socks. It is one of the small comforts of life.

I am a man who knits--very avidly and sometimes obsessively. It helps me keep my sanity in this crazy world.
