SOUTHERN YOUNG

Tough beauty parade today between a Pied Stilt, a little Black shag a White faced heron in flight ( did it a few days ago) and this one. Although the Southern Black backed are common - for beauty of wing-span and grace this one took the gold medal. They look very much the gangly teenager on the ground but they can sure fly well.
