Just off to swimming lessons now.

Relieved to report high risk disaster has been averted from when loud house alarm on our road made no.1 son shut the front door, locking me out with no.2 son. Arrghh.

Managed to shout through to him to fetch a chair and climb up to turn the handle. I was amazed that he did everything I said and was very sorry. He did tell me that he would have been fine and that he would have been able to make his own cheese sandwich for lunch. He didn't seem wildly bothered about what his brother or I would have eaten!
