what a silly hobby.

I'm trying to impose order and sense in my life and decided it would a good idea to sign up for another 10k run. Having it booked, I figured, would force me to go out training. Perhaps this was a very bad idea.

I blame Mr Cleanslate. He's the stupid marathon runner. He's sort of desensitised me to the idea of running, to the point where I think it's a perfectly normal, sensible thing to do... until I'm kitted out, leaving the house and already out of breath.

On the upside, we booked or trip to Boston today! Yay! Mr Marathon qualified for the Boston Marathon (no mean feat) and on the basis that he may never qualify again (there's positive thinking), we have jumped at the opportunity.

So maybe running isn't all that bad.

Also, there was a back blip from yesterday :-)
