Kingsbarns Beach, Fife, Scotland

Beautiful day for a walk along the beach at Kingsbarns, which is only a few miles from where our little cottage is. The beach is flat and sandy with an old harbour at one end.

You can see two golf courses from here - the Kingsbarns course and Balcomie Links at Crail which my husband and a friend played this morning. A bit blowy, but enjoyable.

We missed out on a morning excursion as the electrician was coming to add some extra power sockets in the cottage - the recent broadband installation meant we'd run out of places to plug things.

On the recommendations of guests who'd stayed at the cottage last week, we went off to Kingsbarns in search of "groatie buckies" but didn't find any.
