When will they be here?

Young Max was expecting a friend to visit at Sandcastle Cottage today. He sat looking out of the window for a while to see of he could spot his friend's arrival.

When he tired of that we went to the beach and sent a text message to say we'd meet there instead. A lovely day wandering in Crail.
