Eco boy up early to help on the farm. He was collecting hay bales and stacking them. Back at the farm he helped feed the horses and collected in all the jumps.

Early lunch and off to Scourie, I worked here as a student 26 years ago, on the fish farm. A cracking day, very much like my journey all those years ago.

Popped down to Tarbet to see some of the locals, just their daughter around. Caught up with Charles as he sorted out his boat after being at the creels.

Headed over to the south to nature reserve so Juno could run off the lead. This overlooked badcall bay were I used to look after the salmon. We watched seals play in the shallows, even from a distance we watched them play underwater.

The adults would be back so we headed back to tarbet. Jackie, Julian and family made us very welcome and it was great catching up with all the news and sharing memories.

The day was completed with a night drive across Sutherland on single track roads to have chips in the car.
